Writing to the Nations
Before there were field teams… there were letters.
In 1977, letters were sent to Ministers of Agriculture in developing countries, even to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
Most responses came back with more interesting postage stamps than substance. But something important happened, the name Christian Veterinary Mission entered the global conversation. The CVM vision was no longer local; it had been declared internationally.
Mission often begins quietly, with ink, paper, and obedience. Before infrastructure, funding, and scale; just pure faith, initiative, and the courage to say, “We are here to serve.”
> Sometimes the first step is simply introducing yourself. Who will you introduce CVM to today? #CVM #MissionVets #CVM50th
