Walk Around Grace

Dr. Barry Schwenk began his relationship with CVM as a student at Kansas State University in 1995. After practicing in the US for 7 years, he served with his wife Colette and three children (Emily, Jonas, and Simon) as CVM long term fieldworkers in Ethiopia. Despite a close scare with deportation, the Schwenks served for six years until a family death in Arizona brought them home. Barry served as CVM Regional Representative for the Western United States for 3 years while also attending seminary. Currently he serves full-time as a Senior Pastor spends his other time coaching high school athletics (swimming, cross country, soccer) and as the CVM E-Learning Course Content Development Coordinator.
